Mum Economy

How It Works

Mum Economy makes it easier for mums to find flexible work that fits around life, and for households and small businesses to find capable people they can trust.

Trust Marks make trust visible. Reviews measure a transaction. Trust Marks build a picture of the person: who already trusts them, the work they've proven through Mum Economy, and who has chosen to work with them again. It means a mum can arrive with credibility, not a blank profile.

Tasks

A specific piece of work someone needs done, from households and businesses alike, like cleaning, packing orders, errands or organising a garage. Each task has a clear price, so everyone knows what to expect.

Built on Trust Marks

Trust Marks are built by other people, not written by you. They come from people who know your work, jobs and tasks completed through Mum Economy, endorsements and repeat bookings. Over time, they build a visible track record that helps people feel more confident about who they choose to work with.

Trust builds over time. Here's how:

1

Vouched For

Someone who knows your work backs you.

2

Proven

You've completed work through Mum Economy.

3

Endorsed

People recognise the way you work.

4

Rebooked

Someone chooses to work with you again.

5

Trusted

You've built a strong track record over time.

ⓘ They don't need to be on Mum Economy. A former manager, client, colleague, friend or community connection can vouch for you.
